Vlatko Kottnig on the Loss of Household Supply by GPZ – Opskrba
Zagreb, May 30, 2024. – Vlatko Kottnig, President of the Croatian Gas Distribution and Gas Technology Union, appeared on the show N1 Studio Live. The topic of discussion was the tender announced by HERA in which City Gasworks Zagreb – Supply lost the supply of households using the public gas supply service in the city of Zagreb.
Consequences of the Supply Loss
Kottnig warned that the loss of household supply has far-reaching consequences for the operations of GPZ – Opskrba, as well as for the stability of the gas supply system in the capital. He emphasized that this decision demonstrates how the interests of citizens and national energy security are not sufficiently protected at the state or city level.
