Tomislav Rajković Re-Elected as President of URSH
Zadar, October 1 2021 – The 6th Assembly of the Association of Croatian Trade Unions (URSH) was held at the Hotel Kolovare. The Assembly delegates unanimously supported Tomislav Rajković for a new four-year term as president.
Elections within URSH
New members of the Statutory Commission and the Supervisory Board were also elected at the session, confirming the continuity of work and further strengthening the organizational structure of the Association.
Message from President Rajković
In his address to the delegates, Tomislav Rajković emphasized the importance of unionizing through trade union centers. He particularly stressed that unions will not allow the derogation of workers’ rights through the announced amendments to the Labor Law.
Call for Unity
Rajković called on all unions to actively engage in defending workers’ rights. He stated that employers must accept responsibility and become aware of the misguided policies that forced hundreds of thousands of young workers to leave Croatia, which must not be repeated.
Conclusion
This session marked the continuation of the union struggle for the dignity of work and the retention of young people in Croatia, under the clear leadership of Tomislav Rajković and the unity of URSH members.
