Labor Law Seminar for URSH Members in Vinkovci
In Vinkovci, from October 17 to 19, 2019, a labor law seminar was held for union members affiliated with the Union of Croatian Workers’ Unions (URSH). The aim of the meeting was to raise awareness of social dialogue and to exchange experiences among members of different unions.
Seminar Objectives
The seminar focused on affirming direct cooperation in addressing current issues and encouraging proactive engagement in bipartite and tripartite processes. Special attention was given to exchanging experiences on types and strategies of negotiation.
Exchange of Experiences
Union members had the opportunity to exchange information on economic and social policies, as well as on institutional support and the challenges and confrontations arising from uneven distribution of power. Such discussions contributed to a better understanding of the role of unions in complex socio-economic circumstances.
Organizers and Lecturers
The seminar was organized by URSH in cooperation with the Union of Insurance Company Employees. Lectures and discussions were led by Sabina Bajruši, who contributed to the quality of education through her experience and expertise.
Conclusion
The seminar in Vinkovci was an important step in educating union members, promoting social dialogue, and strengthening negotiation capacities. The exchange of experiences and knowledge empowered union representatives for future challenges in the field of labor law.
