URSH Seminar on Collective Bargaining in Vrsar

Vrsar, October 12–14, 2023. – Organized by the Union of Workers’ Trade Unions of Croatia (URSH), a seminar for union members was held. The seminar’s topic was collective bargaining with a focus on practical advice for resolving situations that arise during negotiations.

Seminar Content

Participants received valuable information on all aspects of collective bargaining – from initial preparations for negotiations to the conclusion of a collective agreement. Special emphasis was placed on the legal framework of collective bargaining, as well as on different styles and approaches to negotiations.

Practical Aspects

The seminar also covered methods for resolving negotiation impasses, providing participants with tools to overcome common obstacles in collective dialogue. Through examples and advice, participants were empowered to conduct negotiations more effectively in their workplaces.

The seminar in Vrsar provided union representatives with concrete knowledge and skills necessary for conducting successful collective bargaining, strengthening their role in protecting and advancing workers’ rights.
